ΘΕΡΑΠΩΝΤΟΣ is a registered non-profit organization committed to preserving Cyprus' rich natural heritage through responsible hunting, wildlife conservation, environmental education, and community participation. Our association brings together hunters, conservation advocates, environmental volunteers, and local residents who share a common vision of protecting ecosystems while maintaining the cultural traditions of ethical hunting.

Our organization believes that responsible hunting plays an important role in wildlife management when practiced according to scientific principles, environmental regulations, and respect for biodiversity. We actively encourage sustainable hunting practices that contribute to balanced ecosystems and healthy wildlife populations.

Beyond hunting activities, we organize conservation campaigns, habitat restoration projects, tree planting initiatives, clean-up events, educational workshops, and wildlife monitoring programs. These initiatives strengthen environmental awareness and encourage greater public participation in protecting Cyprus' forests, wetlands, mountains, and natural landscapes.

We cooperate with governmental agencies, environmental organizations, educational institutions, and local communities to promote scientific wildlife management and responsible environmental stewardship. Through collaboration, education, and volunteerism, we aim to create lasting positive impacts for both nature and society.

Our members participate in regular training sessions covering hunting ethics, firearm safety, wildlife identification, environmental legislation, first aid, and sustainable resource management. Continuous education ensures that our members uphold the highest standards of responsibility and respect toward nature.

The association also serves as a platform for young people interested in conservation, encouraging the next generation to appreciate wildlife, participate in environmental projects, and become active contributors to protecting natural ecosystems.

By combining tradition with modern conservation principles, ΚΥΝΗΓΕΤΙΚΟΣ ΣΥΛΛΟΓΟΣ ΠΕΡΑΤΗΣ ΑΓ. ΘΕΡΑΠΩΝΤΟΣ continues to strengthen environmental responsibility, promote sustainable outdoor activities, and support long-term biodiversity conservation for the benefit of future generations.
